A good FIXME comment in code is a tale of epic woe, a kind of tablet on the mountain warning would be travelers to turn back.

The idea of this space (a newsletter and podcast to begin) is to work through those tales, find the mistakes at the bottom, hopefully find a better path, and have a good laugh while we do.

Even with a deep faith in the ability of tech to change whats possible and drive positive change, we must acknowledge that our thought processes and motives matter a great deal in how our products reach and affect the world.

In short, how matters.

We’ll dig for the logical fallacies and other very very human mistakes that individuals and organizations make, we’ll look at how to survive them, and together we’ll bring better products and change into the world as a result.
